What We Do

Laboratory Testing and Analysis: Ensuring Safe and Quality Food

We offer advanced laboratory testing and analytical services for agricultural and food products. From microbial analysis to chemical residue detection, our state-of-the-art facilities ensure compliance with national and international safety standards—guaranteeing that the food reaching consumers is safe and high-quality.

Capacity Building and Training: Empowering Stakeholders

Through targeted training programs and workshops, we equip farmers, processors, regulators, and supply chain actors with the knowledge and skills to implement best practices in food safety. Our training modules cover everything from Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

Public Awareness and Advocacy: Promoting a Food Safety Culture

We lead public campaigns, community outreach, and educational initiatives that raise awareness about food safety issues. By informing and engaging consumers, schools, and community groups, we build a proactive culture that prioritizes food safety at every level.

Research and Innovation: Advancing Food Safety Solutions

Our research team conducts applied and academic studies to identify emerging food safety risks and develop innovative mitigation strategies. We also collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners to promote evidence-based decision-making in agriculture and food safety.

Provision of Technical Support: Enhancing Industry Compliance

We provide hands-on technical assistance and compliance support to food producers and processors. Our services include food safety audits, documentation review, system design, and preparation for certification to global food safety standards such as ISO 22000, GlobalG.A.P., and FSSC 22000.

Food Product Development: Fostering Innovation and Value Addition

FSI supports clients in developing safe, nutritious, and market-ready food products. From concept to shelf, we assist with formulation, safety validation, shelf-life testing, and regulatory compliance—encouraging innovation while ensuring food safety and consumer trust.
